The program's mission:
The Program's mission is "Bringing network provision of health services in a quality, anticipation, comprehensive and decisive manner, through mobile health teams to the population living primarily in the microregions of lower human development index marginalized with high dispersion, all devoid of timely medical attention due to its geographical location, dispersion and / or conditions of access, which is very complex and in some cases impossible, to establish in the short term fixed medical units.
To accomplish this mission has been defined from the perspective of strategic planning vision "In Mexico by 2012 there will be no person or family lacks basic health care regardless of their socioeconomic status, employment and place of residence, this attention will be given by all health institutions either through fixed units or mobile medical units, all of which will be accredited to ensure quality and effectiveness of services provided.
The program aims to bring the offer of the Health Services Network (REDESS) populations with low Human Development Index and marginalized and scattered locations that lack of appropriate medical care due to various causes or factors. Therefore, the Program was established as an outreach strategy and complement of the Health Services Network (REDESS), whose focus is the individual, family and community.
